# Terms for using DriveQuery

The scope of the public tools, their limitations and what to expect from future services.

## Who and what these terms cover

The data controller is Markus Halonen, acting as an individual. DriveQuery is an independent project created and maintained by Markus Halonen. These terms cover this website and its public tools. Its origin as a hobby does not remove any obligations or mandatory rights that apply to the service.

## Available tools and future services

Maps, planning tools, calculators, guides and the manual mileage log are available now. Connected Tesla features remain in development. Early access registration is not a purchase, a guaranteed launch date or a vehicle connection. Proposed plans, features and prices can change.

## Free tools and paid features

Most tools based on open data are free. Data licensing, vehicle connections and operating costs may require charges for some features. Before a paid service is offered, its provider, total price, billing, cancellation and applicable consumer terms will be stated separately. Using a public tool or joining the waitlist does not create a paid subscription.

## Use estimates with judgement

Maps may be incomplete or outdated. Verify charger access, availability, compatibility and price with the operator. Route, energy, charging-time and cost results are estimates, not navigation or range guarantees. Follow road signs and vehicle warnings and keep a suitable reserve. Do not operate the site while driving.

## Records and responsible use

Check mileage exports, tax figures and tariff assumptions against your circumstances and applicable official guidance. Save your manual report before closing or refreshing the page. Content is general information, not individual tax, legal or electrical advice. Do not bypass security or rate limits, disrupt services or submit data you have no right to use.

## Sources, availability and rights

Third-party data remains subject to its source licences and attribution requirements; free access does not transfer ownership or remove those conditions. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer or privacy rights where the law does not permit it. DriveQuery is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.; Tesla’s trademarks belong to Tesla, Inc.
