Route setup

How do I start an EV route plan?

No account is required. DriveQuery first asks for the car model, model year, version and starting battery level. On mobile, starting charge is set with a slider. If you allow browser location, your current position becomes the origin and the next question is simply where you want to go. Otherwise, enter both origin and destination.

Charging Stop Intelligence

Choose a better charging stop, not just a reachable one

A reachable charger is only the first step. After route, connector compatibility and arrival-battery checks, DriveQuery can use researched stop data to compare which technically valid stop better fits the break you want.

StopScore and preferences

Use Must Have and Prefer for researched amenities such as toilets, coffee, food, grocery, indoor seating or 24/7 access. StopScore v2.2 ranks suitability; missing evidence stays unknown.

Better Stop and arrival hours

Better Stop only suggests an alternative after an actual reroute and battery validation. When opening-hours evidence is available, it can be checked for the estimated arrival time.

Verified prices and trip cost

Verified current charging prices can be shown when supported by evidence. DriveQuery can estimate stop and trip charging cost without treating unknown prices as free or assuming a membership tariff.

Route planning with visible assumptions

Choose the Tesla model, model year and version. The calculation uses usable battery, reference consumption and the vehicle’s speed curve.

The charging plan aims for at least 10% at chargers and the destination, adding only the energy needed for the next safe leg.
