DriveQuery requests public charging locations for the current map viewport. With Automatic by zoom, a country-level overview requests 150+ kW chargers first; zooming in progressively reveals 100+, 50+, 22+ kW and finally all recorded chargers.

DriveQuery compares a kWh price only when the source states one clearly. Missing price never means free.

Map behaviour and sources reviewed 12 October 2026. The map shows the retrieval time for the current viewport; retrieval time is not necessarily the source’s measurement time.

- Zoom into the area and set the connector and power filters. The country overview prioritises higher-power chargers; zooming in or changing the power filter reveals more records.
- Compare stops in the loaded area. “Nearest” uses straight-line miles from the map centre, not driving distance or guaranteed availability.
- Open a station to review its source information, then use the Tesla journey planner for a complete route.
Search can also show places outside the UK; the country is displayed beside each result. Power, connector and Tesla-only filters remain active after selecting a place. Country and operator options depend on the loaded area.
Rapid chargers, networks and useful stop facilities
Use recorded kW and connector type to narrow the results. Actual charging power depends on the car, battery and charger conditions. A GRIDSERVE or other network search should finish with checking the operator’s own access, payment and availability information.
StopScore helps compare researched facilities around a charging stop. It is not a measure of charger reliability or a guarantee that a shop is open. Unresearched or missing facilities stay unknown; the map does not infer toilets or food from a high charging-power rating.
UK charging data: a dated catalogue snapshot
On 12 October 2026, DriveQuery’s saved UK research catalogue contained 13,624 Open Charge Map station records across networks. Of these, 3,642 had a research record and 9,982 had not yet been researched. A research record can still have partial or insufficient service evidence.
These are catalogue records, not a count of unique physical sites, connectors, Tesla Superchargers or available bays. The map shows the current viewport and active filters. This snapshot is refreshed with a site publication; it is not a live UK network total.

Are missing prices or amenities treated as zero?
No. Missing prices do not mean free charging, and missing amenity evidence does not mean the facility is absent.
